Gas Station at noon
Description
Through the skeletal remains of a once-functional gas station, now surrendered to time and desolation. The cracked earth and leafless trees i painted give the landscape a drained of vitality feel which i love, while the collapsing roof and rusted beams speak to forgotten industry and faded purpose. The scene evokes a post human quiet where nature reclaims it self, but memory lingers i think, and the viewer is left to wonder what stories were left behind at this final outpost.
